After the tide pools today we took Darus to the Embarcadero for some people watching and exploring. We all had a nice time. It was my first time getting Darus a smoothie. (I know he's had them before with his caregiver, L, but this was my first time giving him one.) He loved it at first, but I think he got a brain freeze, because half way through, he popped up from the table and brought it over to the trash! We stopped him from trashing it and tried giving it back to him 5 minutes later, but he emphatically told us, "no, no, no, no!"
